Now that the Senate has passed an immigration bill which was filled with pokeable holes, I guess we should pray for a sensible bill from the house. I cannot figure out the Plantation Party – why didn’t they pass an immigration bill when they were in control of the Senate and House – and the Presidency? I wonder, as a Hispanic, do the Hispanic people see through the farce in this Plantation Party and the economic crisis and social chaos they are creating by keeping this subject in limbo? They had enough votes to do this – so why didn’t they pass a path to citizenship, then. Now, this Plantation Party (Schumer) is shouting to the rafters on how important it is to do this now (Harry Reid vowed it would be done before July 4th). Something smells to high heaven. Don’t these people ever have a conscience and think about what is good for the country instead of their party? The Hispanic people left Mexico for freedom and to improve their economic position in life in the U.S. – so don’t they see the Plantation Party as nothing different than what they ran away from?
