What religion does our country profess to be – all kinds. Do the majority of the people consider themselves to be Christians? We have a mixture of cultures in this country who are not – which is okay. But, when these people dictate that our country was not founded on Christianity, then I get a burr in my saddle. At this point, I understand we have some Congressman trying to resolve this matter which is great and it should be – once and for all. The Congressman stated that our leader is not in favor of having and discussing religion (Christianity) in the military. Well, our leader needs to go to the hair dresser because his roots are showing. Last I heard he professed to be a Christian or is this another lie? When they took the Bibles out of Walter Reed Hospital in Washington, D.C., my opinion was the people of this country should have a vote on this matter and see what the people want and not have one person make that decision. It seems that what is happening is happening because of a FEW people’s opinions. Next, the military stated the soldiers could not discuss their religion – why not? It seems we have to be tolerant about our Christianity but the non-Christians don’t have to be tolerant. The majority of people in this country, blacks, whites, Hispanics, etc., are Christians. Mr. Congressmen, we will be looking forward to you solving this problem. Life without God is like a pencil without a point. It seems some people don’t know God until they get in a jam and then they started yelling, “Oh God! Help me.”
