The theory that the subconscious mind controls our age never seemed to be a part of my life. When we are in our twenties we consider a person in their forties to be old. Then when we become forty it doesn’t feel that forty is that old. At forty, we consider sixty very old. I have known people who were old at forty. The draw back I have noticed is when people reach sixty – they seem to want to tell everyone they are old. For some people they just have accepted the fact and can’t think otherwise. The difference in people is their health and being active. Just because the years are passing does not mean you have to implant in your subconscious mind the idea that you are becoming older – it must be kept free from that fixed idea to improve your chances because otherwise the decline will appear.
