Father’s day is tomorrow and is a day on which many people in the U.S. and Canada express gratitude and appreciation by giving their fathers presents or greeting cards.  Father’s day occurs on the third Sunday in June.  Mrs. John Bruce Dodd of Spokane, WA,  started  the celebration for father’s in 1910.  Later the custom spread throughout the U.S.  It has always been important in the nurturing of a child to have a father figure to immolate manhood.  Although our culture has changed in a lot of homes today,  this role is filled by men relatives or friends.  Congratulations to all of the fathers out there who are fathers or fill that role.
