Our Senator Whitehouse from Rhode Island declared today on the floor that the storms in Oklahoma were caused by global warming.   Did I miss something here, I did not know he was a scientist?  Is he an ambulance chaser?  One good thing about  the misinformation was that  Joe Bastardi from the Weather Bureau did  not want to make any  one mad but did set him straight.  The story is that the  Pacific Ocean is cool and the Atlantic is warm which produces the strange weather and this has been forecasted.   The part of  the Senator’s statement that ruffled my feathers is –  he stated that we have these storms and then people come asking for money from them; but, Sir, that money is not yours, it belongs to the taxpayers in this country – so don’t go thinking it is yours.  With all of the time you spent talking about and  comparing Oklahoma and global warming,  you could have been passing an immigration bill that suits the people of the country and protects our border.  Again, please protect our borders!
