It is puzzling to me why the Gang of 8 are including snowboard instructors key to the American immigration policy.  They have granted a break to anyone who is a ski instructor seeking to enter the U.S. temporarily to perform instructing services.  This was injected to please one of the Gang of 8, Democratic Senator Michael Bennett, from the nation’s ski capital of Colorado.  A few weeks later, they added snowboarders to the instructor clause.  They even go so far as to define hourly wages of immigrant farm workers.  The first session was devoted to considering amendments –  Republicans Lindsey Graham and Jeff Flake joined with a unanimous Democratic majority to DEFEAT several Republican-sponsored BORDER SECURITY PROPOSALS.  My question is:  Why do these Democrats and two Republican senators not want our borders secure and our fence completed???  That is the question we need answered!  This bill will not solve the illegal immigration problem.  Border security should be the first order of business.  Why is border security the needle in the haystack?
