Some of the congressmen have been stating on television that if we pass the new immigration law that we will have so many more people paying taxes.  That is not true for a number of reasons which are most Hispanics who are in this wave of people are uneducated and do not speak English.  They are very hard-working people; but, the bulk of them are in some type of individual business and do not pay taxes.  Others work as private housekeepers, sitters for elders, fence builders, concert work, and lawn maintenance, etc.,  where they don’t report the income.  Just take a look at the sanctuary cities and see why they aren’t doing better.  So, I think the congressmen need to rethink that statement.
