Do you ever compare your life as a woman in America and women in other countries? The Middle East, for example, the women’s lives in most of the countries are primitive. I think about not being able to drive a car or driving to the mall shopping and going to the grocery store. Having to wear specific clothes. Going to the beach and wearing a bathing suit. Having to obey your husband and getting along in the same house with I don’t know how many other wives. I wonder who decides who is going to do the laundry. I guess the husband decides. Also, I can’t image not going to church with my family – I guess the women have their own mosque. I admire a lot of the women of the Middle East who are breaking out of this mold. How do the men get any thing done when they have to pray five times a day – when do they work?
Oh! How blessed we are.
