What is tenure?  The definition of tenure is:  the condition or right of holding property or position.  The length of time something is held.  I think the tenure of our professors has made them lazy and arrogant.  The public needs to rethink this position for colleges.  They need to start treating our students in a more respectful manner.  These students are their “customers.”  Would a business treat their customers like these professors are treating our children?  No, because the customer would take his business elsewhere.  Would a company that a student was employed be able to harass their employees like these professors are harassing our children.  There should be some place these young people can report a professor if the student is being harassed.  It is tough enough trying to learn in college; but, when you have to walk on a crate of eggs and have to contend with these arrogant professors even adds more stress.  Enough is enough!
