FRAUD IN THE HIGHEST DEGREE – Do you wonder why our country is  broke?   I am going to give you a good example as to why.  This has been going on for years and it is costing the taxpayer $4 billion per year.  It is called the “Child Tax Credit” and not one blooming thing is being done to stop it.   The 2 million undocumented workers in the country are submitting this form and receiving refunds for nieces and nephews that do not live in the U.S. but live in Mexico.  These workers who are illegal do not have social security numbers; but, in order to pay taxes they are assigned a number called:  Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN).  It is backfiring in a big way.  The 2 million undocumented workers in the country are using their ITIN to file this form, “Child Tax Credit,” which is intended for parents who have a child who is living with them at home in the U.S.  It is being abused by the illegals who are listing  up to 20 additional children dependents, who do not live in the U.S. but in Mexico. and are listed as nephews and nieces and  receive huge refunds.  One address in Indiana  submitted four different ITIN claims with the same address.  One received $11,070 listing 7 nieces and nephews, the second example was he received $10,969 refund for 9 nieces and nephews, and the third example was 20 children and received $29,608  – all sent to this one address.  Do these children all live at this address – no – they live in Mexico?   Have they ever lived at that address – no?  It seems this has been pointed out to Russel George, the U.S. Treasury Inspector General.  His rely was, “The magnitude has grown and the IRS has been warned and recommendations given.”  The IRS  reply is their hands are tied until CONGRESS does something.   So, why hasn’t Congress done something?  It looks like our government has failed the taxpayer again because – IT IS TOO BIG.  The worst part is the IRS tells the public there isn’t any way they can retrieve this money.  I bet if it were Mr. John Public they could!  No other country in this world has a system as broken as ours that we do not know who the illegals are  in this country or where to find them.  That would not happen in any other country in the world!
