It looks like Luis Leon  (he lost his reverend on Sunday) made our leader happy by his unusual sermon since they both exited the church laughing on Sunday – with our leader probably saying – I could not have said it better.  It looks like even christianity is showing signs of cracks or is Leon one of those terrorists dressed up in a christianity suit?  The statement he made certainly put him on notice to the world that he is a hypocrite.  Aren’t these people suppose to be trying to bring people together?  Leon’s statement:  It drives me crazy when the captains of the religious right are always calling us back…for blacks to be back in the back of the bus, for women to be back in the kitchen, for gays to be in the closet, and for immigrants to be back on their side of the border.  It puzzles me that these kind of people always seem so angry when they have a life of Riley.   I wonder who the captains are that he is referring to –  is it our leader, Obama?  Maybe he was chastising him?   I wonder who called him to the back of the bus?  Who put some women back in the kitchen?  Did he put the gays back in the closet or did someone else?  Who put immigrants back on their side of the border?  He needs to elaborate because I do not know what he is referring to because as a white women, I haven’t been put back in the kitchen.  This man is a pastor in the Episcopal Church near the White House and has served both democrats and republicans.  His speech at the inauguration seemed to meet the standards of liberals and conservative; but, on Easter Sunday, he really sang a different tune.  I wonder who Leon reports to and what do they think about his sermon.  I image the country’s Episcopalians are stunned by this overture since there are a lot of white Episcopalians.  I wonder if they feel the same way that Leon does?   Leon needs to read my blog entitled, “Just Not Silent Anymore.”
