Our leader has proclaimed April the month to teach young people “How to Budget Responsibly.”  Since this was beamed to Scotty on April Fools Day,  I am assuming he is joking by his past practice.  I have a better quote from the past – 55 BC.

“The budget be balanced.  The Treasury should be refilled.  Public debt should be reduced.  The arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed, lest Rome (now America) will become bankrupt.  People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”

Seems they were smarter than our practitioners of today.  It might be wise to heed their advice.
