Thank you again Dr. Carson for turning the light on in the closet. It seems that people cannot have more than one view if they are a liberal and will try to destroy anyone who disagrees with them. They do not know how to debate the issues and instead go to “name calling.” Growing up, we were taught if something in life was true or pure or your sure of it – that was called black or white — nothing in between. But, it seems that in the sixties another norm came into the picture. When people were not sure of something or something was confusing – rather than give a direct answer – people would say it is a grey area so they would not have to answer. That is when the spinning and lieing started in our country and it has not stopped. I agree with you that the students at Hopkins should have the speaker they want; but, they wanted you, initially. I would love to see a head count of how many really wanted you out of the picture? If these students can’t see both sides of the coin and see how, quickly, they jumped to conclusions before hearing your side, I would certainly not look forward to having them as a doctor at my hospital if they are that narrow-minded. The sad part is – they don’t realize what they are rooting for because when they start their practice they are going to make peanuts under obamacare compared to what they would have made under normal circumstances. They are shooting the messenger that is really on their side. Undoubtedly, they have drunk the kool-aid. Let’s pray for them in hopes they might see the light in the closet.
