It was a bright and sunny day and all personnel had reported to their posts when the shots rang out. Who would have believed that something like this could happen on a military station? Yes, it has happened quite frequently throughout the world on America’s military posts. All because of a stranger in our midst who opposes our beliefs. This particular incident started in Washington, D.C. The reported incidents by various individuals for years were not heeded because people just could not make themselves believe we had a stranger in our lives who hated America. The incidents were building under the rug until someone removed the rug and sent it to Fort Hood in Texas. Then, one day, it seemed the pile in the rug could not hold the dirt longer and it exploded. A lot of people’s lives were changed forever. Now, what happens to this dirt is still up in the air after many years. But, the people who survived are still left with a feeling of uncertainty because it is not being called what it really is – a war within or as I want to call it a “force majeure” – a major force or act of another’s God. Another kind of God that has declared a war on our God. We will never know why our military continues to be “politically incorrect.” Is it they are afraid themselves to vet people entering our forces or they just latching on human bodies, regardless, just to be successful in their number count? Is it the fact they have declared war on us and our homeland; but, we won’t admit we should also declare war on them by admitting we are fighting them in America on our own turf? In the end, all of the people who were involved in this turf war at Fort Hood are definitely victims of our war with the terrorist irregardless of what country we engage them. We have put this incident on hold long enough. It is time for the people in charge to finalize this horrible chapter in our lives and give this man his “just dues” with or without a beard so our victims can move on. I don’t think he asked his victims about their rights!
