The CPAC speeches by everyone were outstanding and it looks like  the crew in the wings of the Republican Party are going to stand strong.  I hope in this next election they do more back-biting rather than sit still and wait for the next hit.  That rubber mallet that the party used only bounced back and did not make any impression.  Also, we need to take an x-ray of our next group of challengers to see if their backbones are strong enough to stand the pressure and not cow down and listen to these consultants who don’t know a hill of beans except to collect the cash.  Also, I thought Romney was mislead on how to handle the “Chicago thugs;”  and, he didn’t use his own instinct in the campaign like he did in the primaries – he was all over Gingrich like dog on a bone.  Lastly, I wish that  in the future when Romney  is speaking and finishes a sentence – he seems to stop,   and,-  it looks like he is smacking his lips and has a semi-smirk or smile with a look like, “did they like that statement.”  The look on his face should not be a look of contentment but a look of “dam-it, that is the way it is.”   Nice doesn’t get it when it comes to politics and he knows that.
