It does not matter whether you are an athlete, teacher, singer, cheerleader, or someone’s neighbor you are being observed by others as being a role model.  In most instances you are not even aware that this is happening by the younger generation.  A lot of people tell the public they are not role models because they are not being paid to be one.  Well, neither is anyone else.  We do not sign up; but, it happens anyway.  When we step up to the public plate – we are in the public spotlight.  We all make mistakes in life; but, the important thing is how you handle them and move on.  Parents are the main role model in our lives and we must keep it that way.  Every day you set an example on how you conduct yourself.  You are an influence on others and you can make a difference.  You are being observed every day of  your life.  And, you will never know if you were that role model that someone chose to be like.
