Glad to see someone, like the judge, has some common sense in New York. When rich mayors try to infringe on the rights of people because they think they have money and can make people do things – that is where the rubber hits the road. This mayor needs to worry about the traffic and pot holes in New York not what people sip on. I have seen the 32-ounce drinks everywhere in doctors offices, hospitals, cleaners, etc. The explanation that I have been given for the size is “that it lasts all day” and when it is empty I can fill it up with water and it does not take me away from my work because it is right beside me when I am thirsty. What makes the mayor think that if this was banned that people wouldn’t just buy four – eight-ounce sodas if the 32-ounce drinks were banned. The only reason this mayor starts all of this ding-bat social engineering is to take the heat off the leader of this country. He has been doing this for a long time and people have not caught on to his trick. They are keeping the people busy at the front door worrying about small stuff while our leader is hauling our money out the back door of the white house.
