The O’Reilly show on Fox News  became very heated tonight in a debate between Alan Colmes, a democrat and O’Reilly.  I don’t always agree with O’Reilly; but,  I was proud of him tonight.  His question to Alan was “Give me two projects that Obama has completed to save money for the country during his five years in office.”  Alan replied Medicare and Medicaid – which is not true.  O’Reilly became unglued and called him on the lie.  He then continued to ask the same question and Alan could not give him any other answer.  I do not understand why these democrats want to lie.  It does not bother them – they will look right in the camera with a straight face and never blink.  The thing that bothers me is that a lot of people do not know the truth and believe whatever  is said.  People in this country have gotten very cynical because when people are dishonest and the people find out they have their doubts any time that person is speaking.  Once a liar is found out in my books – that is the end of that person.  My motto has always been – trust – but verify.
