School vouchers are the topic of the week in San Antonio, Texas, this week. The question is – are school vouchers an issue of civil rights or simply a way to bolster private schools by siphoning tax dollars away from public education. As we all know, the educational system is broken. It should be run by the states and not by the federal government. The main problem is that the unions rule the teachers and the system. The unions have been siphoning the dues and supporting the Plantation Party. We need to establish more competition by having private schools within the school systems to straighten out the public schools. Our children are failing to obtain the education that is needed to compete in the world and it is due to the corruption of the unions. The second problem is – cities are building systems that are too large and the cities end up not being able to support them. The third problem is – each district should have a professional accountant handle the public’s tax revenue for the school. Too many funds are being wasted.
