After further thought about gun violence and black on black crimes, we see and hear these wealthy black people (Belafonte and Hill) criticizing America about this topic but I don’t see them putting their money where their mouth is by establishing funds to help these people. Remember “actions speak louder than words.” We need to set up classes to teach all young people about etiquette and morals which is not happening. Instead of gangs, we should preach what Henry David Thoreau felt, “If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away.” They should be preaching to a different choir.
