Don’t you love Harry Belafonte’s music. It never goes out of style. They had a snippet of his speech discussing gun violence in America. I totally agree with him, plus he needed to have said that black on black shootings and killings have to stop. It is surprising that the people in Chicago have not raised their voices in this regard. They have the strictest gun control and I do not understand why because the Supreme Court has ruled that their second amendment is being violated in Chicago because of the strict gun laws. I am surprised the politicians have not stood up for the people in order for them to have their guns for protection. So many innocent people have been killed and the politicians and the clergy, including our president, don’t seem to care. Also, where is the mayor of the city why isn’t he standing up for the people. I guess it is like the abortion issue – they just don’t value life as long as it is not their family being killed.
