Diversity training is a very good thing for a lot of people who have never interfaced with different races.  But, the diversity training that is being held by the U.S. Agriculture Department is different in that it is more brain-washing than working with different cultures.  It seems a Professor Samuel Belance, who is being paid $7,600 per session, is approaching this differently.  One of his main statements was that “The Pilgrims were illegals.”  And goes so far as asking the crowed to repeat those words over and over.  In a sense I guess that could be true; but, I don’t think the Native Indians had an Immigration Board or laws!  The Pilgrims were members of a small group of English people who set up the Plymouth Colony on the shore of Cape Cod Bay in Massachusetts in 1620.  One of their leaders, William Bradford, spoke of himself and the others as  “pilgrims and strangers upon the earth.”  One group of this body was known as the Separatists because they wanted to set up a group of believers who did not follow the Church of England.  The ship that brought them to America was the “Mayflower.”   My point is the dollar amount this guy is charging to promote his ideology and you might guess he is from Chicago.  It is that same old government theory that you charge $75 for a hammer when it cost you $9.00 and stick the difference in your pocket.
