The Washington political leaders always seem to think they know what an immigrant wants to do.  Have you all ever taken a poll from these people on what the real reason they come to this country illegally?  They don’t love this country better than they do their home country of Mexico.  The conversations that I have had with them is all they want is to come and work in this country and save enough money to go back home to open a business and live their own life in Mexico.  We seem to think that everyone wants to live in America which is not true – these people have family values, religion, and live the good life in Mexico not here.  The wages that are paid in Mexico are so low they cannot get ahead.  I have noticed the years we have been going to Mexico their lifestyle has certainly improved because they come here, make their money, and return home to open their own business.  I think we need to be better listeners and adjust our policies and laws.  Also, we need to readjust and enforce the “anchor” babies law.  This is a loophole that needs to be fixed – this doesn’t happen in any other country so why should it happen here?
