Are the American people holding this leader to the same standard that we held other presidents – hell no!  Powell chastised the Republicans for calling him “lazy.”  Was he singing to the wind?   It always stings when you tell the truth when a person is not doing his job.  Yes, the military took out Bin and he was re-elected; but, there is more to being a leader besides making speeches.  When I worked if I would have missed as many deadlines as this leader – I would have been out the door long time ago.  Why are people afraid to hold this guy’s feet to the fire?  What are both bodies afraid of – democrats and republicans?  We are going down the tube and our Congress and  Senate leaders, who we send to Washington to represent us, just sit there pulling in their paychecks and we are the ones who are paying the borrowing tab.  If we were doing this on our credit card  – the bank would have cut the credit card usage long time ago.  He has missed the budget deadline four times, Senate budget missed for three years, sequestration problem has not been worked,  Chinese money cheating and computer hacking has not been addressed, medicare trigger has not been addressed , and the regulatory business with the SEC and Wall street’s revolving door has not been addressed.  It is so overwhelming,  I get the feeling all of the Congress and Senate have decided – instead of doing something – we just won’t do anything.  When I worked if we saw some one drowning like this guy is – we would at least throw him a life jacket – problem is he won’t use the life jacket.  He continues to bring in CEO’s from big business; but, he won’t take their advice so why does he bring them in if not for the show to make people think he is doing something.  He cannot meet his deadlines because he does  not stay in the white house long enough to work with the people who are supposed to be working these projects.  Dereliction of duty – you betcha!  Don’t say it too loud because you have to be “politically correct.”
