Didn’t you love the children’s choir and Keyes renditions at the Super Bowl?  Beyoncé’s perform was good; but, I wished I could have heard the words. The performance had so much going on the words were lost – they need to put the captions on the screen so people can appreciate what she is saying.  She is a beautiful woman and we want to appreciate what she is singing.   I saw her discard her jacket because she was getting so hot with all of the fire and brimstone surrounding her.  I do not feel she needs all of those people outside of the stage around her – it only detracts from her and the other ladies on the stage.  Whoever puts the performance together needs to change the scene – we have had this same type of performance for a number of years.  How about next year having a mixture of musicians so everyone can appreciate the performance, i.e.,  jazz, classical, country, and whatever else would be appropriate.  As far as the ads were concerned, there were only a few that caught my eye – the rest had way too much going on within an ad to appreciate it.  By the way, who wants all of the sex in the ads when we are munching and drinking and our young children are asking – what does that mean mommie?  Save the sex ads after the children go to bed.  No wonder the lights went out – I call it divine intervention!
