The new name of the game is BYOB (Bring Your Own Bag) to the super markets in Austin, TX.   The city council has passed a law that the plastics bags that groceries are sacked will longer be available due to the folks wanting to save the environment.  The city’s motto is “keep Austin weird.”  It is a shame that such a beautiful city is changing but not for the good.  It looks like they will be running the big grocery chains out-of-town.   If you plan a trip to Austin for a visit,  be sure and pack your grocery bags in case you need to shop.
