They say he is a deep thinker, a Viet Nam vet, and has experience in foreign affairs;  but, I was disappointed in Chuck Hagel’s appearance and his responses.  He seemed to be confused when they were grilling him.  He must have been off his game today because he certainly did not come across as the sharpest knife in the drawer.  Why can’t they set up an interviewing process and let the leader send more than one person for such an important job, Secretary of Defense?  Surely there are others that would be just as qualified!
