The word compromise in daily life happens all of the time.  The definition is a settling of an argument or dispute in which each side gives up part of what it wants.  The word could also be used as:  “Do not compromise your reputation by CHEATING.”  It was stated on the MSNBC network this morning that compromise is a dirty word in the Republican Party.  I wonder which definition  this person meant – I bet since she loves the Republican Party she was referring to the “Do not compromise your reputation by cheating.”  Thank you and keep up the good work.
