The President and Vice-President and their families looked and conducted themselves in a very moving fashion.  The President’s daughters were stunning and showed such grace.  I hope that all families will take a page from this moment in history  which shows what a mother and father can accomplish together.   Bravo!

The President was very precise in the direction he will try to take the country for the next four years; but, it sounded more like the Plantation Party Convention.  He did not mention our monumental debt and how he plans to work to reduce this.  He,  especially,  did not talk about jobs and the fact that we have so many people who are out of work.  I did not agree with him that “government is the answer to people’s problems.”  We have too much corruption in our government because we do not have any checks or balances.  We have got to reduce the government rolls.  As far as the gays are concerned, I think that is a state issue.  I feel the immigration issue has been settled in that we have laws on the books that are not being followed; therefore, before we make any more new laws, we need to bring out the old laws that have cobwebs on them.  Why did we put them in the closet to begin with?  He kept saying “we” but never mentioned the Republican party and the fact he has had a hard time working with them.  I hope now that we are starting a new journey and you have put your hand on that Bible, in fact three of them, and swore to uphold the Constitution – we are going to hold you to your word.
