Many people have never seen snow.  It only falls on only about a third of the earth’s surface.  We had snow yesterday morning.  It is a beautiful sight when the shimmering flakes which are formed when the water vapor in clouds freeze and fall and start to form on the ground.  Each flake is different and no two flakes are the same.  The snow is more noticeable on the roof tops because the ground was warm so the flakes melted before they could multiply.  Our puppy, Beau,  was not too happy about going out in the cold; so, he didn’t waste any time doing his business;  and,  I was happy to get back in by the fire.  We usually take a walk each morning and evening; so, when 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. happens he will run to the back door and bark.  Or, during the day, if it is business time,  he will repeat the same exercise.   We all have clothes for this type of weather – even Beau has a coat for outside and sweaters to wear in the  house – Peta would be proud of us.   But, we have to enjoy the snow quickly because our weather  fluctuates so it  does not last long.  I love the different seasons and the joy they bring with hot tea and cocoa by the fire.
