Here we go again arguing about Christianity versus Atheism!  It seems at West Point there are a few who want to remove prayer from the public square.  Why?

  Why should a few people have their way and the majority not rule?  Isn’t that what democracy is all about?  It amazes me when the Atheist says, “it makes me feel uncomfortable when I have to sit there while this is going on.”   I would think with the stringent training that you receive at West Point there are tougher things going on that would really make you feel uncomfortable.  It seems to me if you are not tough enough to respect and sit through a prayer – then you are not very tough – and should not be there in the first place. 

 I thought these schools taught respect, honor, and obey!  Where did the respect go for others?  Doesn’t the Atheism religion believe in the respect for others?  The definition of Atheism:  a person who believes there is no God.  The definition of Christianity:  a person who believes in Jesus as the Messiah and is the religion based on the teachings of Jesus. 

Why can’t we all have our way because none of us know what the right way is – we can only have faith in our own beliefs.  There is room for everyone at the Stable  to celebrate Jesus’ birthday!
