Our marine is safe and sound and back on American soil!  Thanks to Bill O’Reilly (Fox News) and our Congresswoman from Florida for their help in making this happened.  We now know where to turn to when we need help in the future.  Also,  thanks to the Judge in Mexico who used common sense and made this happen.  And, shame on those in Mexico who only put more blight on Mexico for this to happen in the first place.  They need to investigate those people who were trying to extort money from the marine’s family and put them in this same filthy prison in order to make an example of them so this does not happen again.  The other thing the car rental companies in Mexico need to have the police investigated because if someone rents a car they are always  stopped when they leave the airport and go through a “shake down” (and it is not cheap).  The rental car companies are losing a lot of money because of this shake down going on because people are afraid.  They need to conduct a sting on these bad guys!  Our experience with the police in Mexico has always been positive; but, friends of mine have not been so lucky.
