What gets more bang for the buck in entertainment? If you said, explosions, guns, people killing each other, people flying through the air, and cars flying through the air. What could any one get from this scene when the game or movie is over? There is no story that something could be taught – only numbing of our children to violence. Example: if a child plays a video game over and over where that child kills people or damages property – do you think that is a good lesson? Or a child plays war games where he is killing a lot of people what is gained from this – just continues to numb them to any act of violence. I think these acts of violence need to be redirected to learning how to read and write since our children are so far behind other countries. Or, better still, invent some thing new other than violence or is that the name of the game?
