It is puzzling to me why people cannot let go of the “slavery subject.”  The people of today did not have anything to do with the slave era.  So why don’t people let go.  It is like a  rope around everyone’s neck and when they need to use it they drag this rope out of the closet.  This is 2012 – let’s start out the New Year trying to fix our country instead of digging up “old bones.” 

It is time for America to step up to the plate and realize hollering “racism” does  not work in America anymore.  We have a black President, a black Attorney General and roughly 18% of the Federal workforce is black.  So we have to move on to educate all of our children to compete in the country on their own merits and not by tokens  because when they enter the global  economy race does not enter the picture.
