Don’t you love watching those people who come out of the wood work and who have been able to enjoy the fruits of democracy in America while embracing other forces. America has always supported all cultures, especially Caribbean style music. I am speaking of Belafonte who in December, 2012 suggested that Obama should imprison the Republicans who opposed his policies like they do in third world countries. A lot of people are shackled to the past because they don’t want to live in the future. This type of person talks like they want to help his culture; but, in the end they want them shackled to the past – and, if any of their people join the Republican party, then they are serving a master. Oh! Boy! As you know Belafonte was mentored as a communist. It is amazing these people come out of the closet after they make a lot of money in America and all of a sudden become experts in foreign policy. My question is – if he likes dictatorships why hasn’t he moved to that part of the world and enjoyed his American fruits of labor under a dictatorship instead of “stirring the hatred pot” all of the world, especially Africa and Cuba.
P.S. MR. belafonte, only half of the country voted for Obama – sorry, no mandate – 60% wants him to STOP SPENDING OUR MONEY.
