Received a letter from the North Pole, AK, Santa Claus Headquarters today and they are complaining about a person  in America by the name of Preacher Farrakhan who is telling children “there aint no Santa Claus.”  Why would anyone do such a thing and spoil the hopes and dreams of little children?  We will call him Mr. Scrooge!  It will be a week since I stood on Main Street and watched the lighting of our town Christmas tree, announcing to one and all – the opening of Christmas season.  Most memorable was watching the little children and their eyes glistening  with excitement and sharing their enthusiasm.  I wonder if Preacher Farrakhan is a grandpa?  If so, I wonder what do they celebrate?
