The award goes to Bob Costas for stating that “guns should be banned” because of the recent shootings.  I think he should have dug a little deeper.  Guns don’t kill people – people kill people by using guns as a weapon.  Are you going to ban baseball bats, knives, etc. – they also have been used as weapons?
