Thanks to the union – another icon gone?   Hostess Twinkie and Wonder Bread down the toilet.  The union cut off their nose to spite their face, again.  Can you imagine – a twinkie can’t ride in the same truck that Wonder bread  is being delivered – has to be in different trucks.  And, the driver can’t unload the twinkie – has to be a different person – and a bread- unloader cannot unload twinkies.  I think the union is  continuing to price themselves out of business – don’t you.  Whatever happened to common sense?  These guys are getting too big for their britches – where are the union members – would you rather not have a job than have a job with concessions?  A lot of people are losing their jobs.   HOW DID I FORGET SUCH AN IMPORTANT PART OF THE PLANTATION PARTY PLATFORM- SLAVES TO THE PARTY  (surely these people can see the handwriting on the wall).  COULD BE THEY ARE GOING TO START DRAWING THE FREEBIES. I think an arbitrator should be brought in and both sides should make concessions.  If the arbitrator scenario fails – then it should go before a judge and jury and see what happens.  This should not be allowed to happen – the union has gotten out of control – ridiculous salaries and ridiculous benefits – we cannot afford these unions any longer.
