Education is beginning to be a complicated subject!  Young people are completing their education without any real knowledge.  When the companies that are hiring cannot find candidates that can pass their placement tests – we have a problem – so what are the young people actually learning – is it the teachers or is it the students?  We must find out what is the problem.  My opinion is –  it is the deliberate dumbing down of our country and we have to change it.  We need to clean house to begin with and balance out the liberal and conservative teachers and professors. 

A good example is when a sports player receives a scholarship to go to college he will most times leave college and go to the pros.  Thereby, a good scholarship has been wasted.  My opinion is that he should sign a contract and not be able to waste this scholarship and have to use it for four years or whatever it takes to graduate or if he is not passing send him home.  These people should be tested each year to see if they are learning anything and if they are not  –  drop then from the rolls.  We have too many students going to college and graduate with a degree  or don’t graduate – having learned nothing.
