I remember the name Colin Powell during the Iraq war in the Bush presidency. Wasn’t he the person that stopped at the water’s edge and recommended that we not take Saddam out at that point and left him in power? If my memory serves me right – we had to re-fight that war because we did not finish the job the first time. And now, and now, the question is – why does he call himself a Republican – oh well. He said that Romney was not definitive enough in his policies – and Obama is? He must know more than we do!!

P.S. After further thought, what was the purpose of his announcement to the public on who he was going to vote? Who cares?

Yes, he knew more than we did – I guess he will be the replacement for Hillary?

I am still puzzled by this situation – did he use the Republican party as a stepping stone or was he sincere? Or did he have too much pressure from his race? If he was sincere in what was wrong with the Republication Party (with his background in negotiations) why didn’t he approach the party and try to help it rather than abandon it?
