Have all of you noticed how many young people are returning from the wars and are disabled? It is wonderful that the people in this country are responding by establishing charities to help these people; but that is not enough. These people should not have to rely on the public for help. Our government needs to set up a special fund for these people to be taken care of the rest of their lives. For starters: a house should be built to take care of their needs, a monthly check (not a token) to provide for them if they are unable to work; and, if they are able to work – a job. These people did not start these wars – our government did. They went to war as patriots to protect this great country. If we can give money to these countries and they use the money against us – the least we can do is take care of our young people who these people have harmed.
