What is the name of this game – bank interest rates on a CD run around 0.549 percent; but, if you have a credit card of any kind they run from 13.99 to 23.99 percent. I would like to know for those people who do save money what are the options to be able to invest at a bank or credit union. It looks like “under the mattress” scenario is the best place to put your money. Can the bank explain why this is happening – the imbalance? We invest and receive 0.549 percent; but, if we use our credit card, we pay them 13.99 to 23.99 percent to use the bank’s money? Is this another Ponzi scheme?
