FIGHTING A WAR

How do you fight a war to win?  How do you strategize?  Do American politicians leave it up to the military strategists?   It bothers me just thinking about the past two wars that we are not playing the war to “win.”  Russia fought in Afghanistan for 20 years and finally “gave up” and went home.  In my opinion, if the people of the war- torn countries do not want to change – there is no way on earth you can make that happen.  I think at this point, this country has done all it can to free the people of the world – not every one wants “freedom” as we see freedom.  While we are trying to give other people freedom, we are losing our freedom every day.  We have spent and given so much money throughout the world that we have neglected our own country and people.  It is time to start playing “HARD BALL,” which we are capable of doing, with these countries.  No more apologizing for where we stand.

The awkward point I do not understand – when Russia was fighting in Afghanistan – we were not supporting Russia.  Then,  when we were fighting in Afghanistan the Russians are not supporting America.  Does this make sense?  Why can’t these countries wake up and try “WORLD PEACE” for a change.  Lastly, are the wars happening to keep the world economy propped up?
