KOMMONSENTSJANE – IS THIS THE CONTINUATION OF THE OBAMA/DEMOCRAT’S/ EUROPEAN UNION CLIMATE HOAX?

Who is funding this unqualified kid’s trip around the world touting “climate change?”

Doesn’t look like this young lady did much studying with all of the material available to prove she is not on the right side of the track.

If I were in her place, I would be more concerned about the number of babies being killed in the world. The left with Planned Parenthood are killing our future work force.

KOMMONSENTSJANE – MORE BABIES SURVIVED IN 2017 FROM CULTURE OF DEATH.

The left won’t need a world at the rate they are killing babies.

*******

Sounds like the “kid” is raising the parents which seems the case in young people’s lives today.

Is this a part of the European Union’s Paris Climate Accord/ Obama/Democrat’s climate change hoax?

Remember Europe was a part of Obama’s over throw of our Presidential election.

Since when have we turned our world over to children?

Again, how can I take this “kid” seriously when she meets with Obama – who committed treason and tried to take over the country. This tells me this is just a continuing effort to take our country down by Obama and the European Union. Nothing else has worked so they send a kid to do a man/woman’s job.

What books has she been so inspired by?

What does this kid say about all of the scientists who manipulated the numbers for Obama? Who is a liar.

She needs to go back home and finish her education, go to college, and become a climate change scientist – and then we would feel she is qualified to tell the world “climate change is real.”

The Swedish 15-year-old who’s cutting class to fight the climate crisis

Following Sweden’s hottest summer ever, Greta Thunberg decided to go on school strike at the parliament to get politicians to act

Greta Thunberg leads a school strike and sits outside of the Swedish Parliament, in an effort to force politicians to act on climate change.

Why bother to learn anything in school if politicians won’t pay attention to the facts (whose facts?)

This simple realization prompted Greta Thunberg, 15, to protest in the most effective way she knew. She is on strike, refusing to go to school until Sweden’s general election on 9 September to draw attention to the climate crisis.

Her protest has captured the imagination of a country that has been struck by heatwaves and wildfires in its hottest summer since records began 262 years ago.

Wildfires rage in Arctic Circle as Sweden calls for help. (Whose setting all of these fires?)

Every day for two weeks, Thunberg has been sitting quietly on the cobblestones outside parliament in central Stockholm, handing out leaflets that declare: “I am doing this because you adults are shitting on my future.”

Thunberg herself is a diminutive girl with pigtails and a fleeting smile – not the stereotypical leader of a climate revolution.

“I am doing this because nobody else is doing anything. It is my moral responsibility to do what I can,” she says. “I want the politicians to prioritize the climate question, focus on the climate and treat it like a crisis.”

When people tell her she should be at school, she points to the textbooks in her satchel.

“I have my books here,” she says in flawless English. “But also I am thinking: what am I missing? What am I going to learn in school? Facts don’t matter any more, politicians aren’t listening to the scientists, so why should I learn?”

Thunberg’s protest might come as a surprise to anyone seduced by Sweden’s reputation as a climate pioneer and champion of the environment. This year the country enacted “the most ambitious climate law in the world”, aiming to become carbon neutral by 2045 and comfortably beating the 2015 Paris climate targets along the way.

(What’s going on in Sweden. I thought they were the leader in using SOCIALISM as their model?)

“This is too little too late, it needs to come much faster,” Thunberg says. “Sweden is not a green paradise, it has one of the biggest carbon footprints.”

Her parents want her to give up her protest and go back to school. “My teachers are divided,” Thunberg says. “As people they think what I am doing is good, but as teachers they say I should stop.”

One teacher to have downed tools to join her protest is Benjamin Wagner, 26. He expects to lose three weeks’ wages – and his job – as a result of his strike.

“Our inability to stop climate change is like the efforts to stop world war one – we knew for years it was coming, they arranged all sorts of conferences, but still they didn’t prevent it,” Wagner says.

(No, they didn’t. Nor did they win it by themselves.)

“Greta is a troublemaker, she is not listening to adults. But we are heading full speed for a catastrophe, and in this situation the only reasonable thing is to be unreasonable.”

There are signs that more Swedes are listening. The Green party, a partner in the centre-left coalition government, was languishing in the polls before the country was hit by more than 60 forest fires, which raged for weeks through a rural tinderbox created by the unprecedented drought. Now the party’s support is up by half to about 6%.

“But I am also sad that she feels she has to be there – the political parties in Sweden have not done enough. Thanks to the hot summer it has become easier for people to imagine what climate change can mean for us and others in Europe if we continue to ignore what is happening.”

Outside parliament, Stella d’Ailly, 45, an art director, has come to join Thunberg’s protest.

“I feel like I am dying inside if I don’t protest,” she says. “Sweden may be well organised to recycle our trash, for example, but we do nothing to cut the amount of plastic bottles and packaging in the first place. We need drastic change.”

Thunberg’s own awakening to the climate crisis a few years ago caused upheaval in her family. Her mother, the well known opera singer Malena Ernman, has given up her international career because of the climate effects of aviation.

“Greta forced us to change our lives,” says her father Svante. “I didn’t have a clue about the climate. We started looking into it, reading all the books – she has read them too.”

(Again, whose books are they reading. Are they truth or fiction?

 Greta Thunberg will sail across the Atlantic on a zero-emissions yacht for the UN climate summit

Posted 1:00 PM, August 18, 2019

Climate activist Greta Thunberg will cross the Atlantic on a zero-emissions sailboat on her way to speak at the UN Climate Action Summit on September 23.

Setting off mid-August from an undisclosed location in the UK, Thunberg and the crew of the Malizia II yacht will sail to New York City, where the summit will take place at UN headquarters, according to a tweet from Thunberg.

The Swedish 16-year-old has become the figurehead of a burgeoning movement of youth climate activists after her weekly protests inspired student strikes in more than 100 cities worldwide. UN Secretary-General António Guterres has called on world leaders to present concrete plans to reduce greenhouse gas emissions at the upcoming summit.

(Under whose guise of scientific numbers, pray tell?)

Thunberg doesn’t fly due to high levels of emissions from air travel, according to a statement, and the Malizia II will allow her to make a zero-emissions journey thanks to solar panels and underwater turbines that generate electricity.

15-year-old tells climate negotiators they aren’t mature enough to tell it like it is.

Cutting emissions is key to reducing climate change, which could pose an existential threat to human societies by 2050 if swift and dramatic action isn’t taken, according to a report published in June.

“The science is clear and all we children are doing is communicating and acting on that united science,” said Thunberg in a statement.

“And our demand is for the world to unite behind the science.”

(Again, are the numbers fact or fiction? How does she know?)

Thunberg looked into the most environmentally friendly way to get to New York before settling on the Malizia II.

The boat will be captained by Boris Herrmann, a professional race skipper, and Pierre Casiraghi, founder of the Malizia team.

“Greta is amazingly courageous to be standing up against ignorance and injustice regarding the climate crisis,” said Herrmann.

“I feel humbled that Greta accepted our offer as the lowest-carbon option to cross the Atlantic — despite the lack of comfort for her.”

Thunberg’s appearance in New York City will be the first stop in a string of engagements in the Americas over the next few months, according to a statement.

She will also go to Canada and Mexico, and travel to the UN COP25 climate conference in Santiago, Chile, before visiting other sites in South America.

On July 25 Thunberg and UK band The 1975 released a song in which she calls for mass civil disobedience to force action on greenhouse gas emissions.

In the track, titled “The 1975,” Thunberg recites an essay over ambient music, urging listeners to join a popular rebellion against climate change.

As of July 29, humans have used more resources than Planet Earth can regenerate in a year, organization says.

Again, who is paying for her entire trip – a person who is not qualified to speak to climate change. She is a pawn in the left’s evil works. Can you imagine parents allowing this person to “go it alone?” It looks like she is raisin’ the parents.
